Make sure there is an outlet nearby the mounting location.
- Fasten the safes to wall and shelf to prevent criminals from stealing the entire safe and its contents.
Keep in mind that the safes must rest on top of a shell . It is not sufficient to leave the safe hanging only by the two fastening points in the back wall.
- Programming the safe with safe link .
Not required if the safes are delivered with electronic key.
Connecting safes with internal AC-outlet to mains power:
- The safe has an IEC - connector on the back, meaning you will need an extra cable for connection between the safe and mains outlet. To ensure and reliable operation , make sure this cable is of good quality and approved according to your country's regulations for electrical safety. Cords for use in the US must be UL listed.
- The cord must be connected to the IEC-connector in the back of the safe before the safe is fastened.
Where it is needed to pre-drill holes in the wall / shelf for mounting of the safes, it is recommended to make a drilling template of wood or steel in 1:1 size.
Drill holes for the fastening holes in correct position on the template.
Place the template in correct position and pre-drill the holes.
